The $10,000 CHI CS:GO Open event is the first stop of of the CS:GO series in the NSG Eastern Conference Championships. ESEA and Mad City are collaborating to host the first of many online events to lead up to the championship events.

The Open Online event will run from January 14th, 2018 through February 11th, 2018 and will result in 3 winning teams taking $2750 in travel reimbursements and free entry to the live event.

The cost to participate in the Open Online event is $100 per roster which will allow any number of stand-ins and coaches that you need. When registering you will be prompted to link to all ESEA profiles that you’d like added to your roster.

The signup deadline is THREE hours before the Open Online event begins on January 14th, 2018. After that point new teams will no longer be able to enter but already accepted teams will be able to change players up to the start of the event. Once matches begin to be assigned to servers, then teams will no longer be able to change players throughout the duration of the Open Online event ending on February 11th, 2018.

Players are required to check in via the #csgo-open-online channel in the Mad City Discord ONE HOUR before each match is set to start throughout the event. Teams should check in by having ONE player on the team typing the following statement ONCE “team name checking in” where the team name corresponds to the identical name that they used in to register their roster. Ad admin will regularly post a list of the checked in teams so far and teams should double check that they have been added there. Check in will close 30 minutes before the event is set to begin.

At least one member of the team should remain in the group chat at all times of the event in order to receive ip addresses, communicate with admins, etc. Though, we do suggest that ALL members of your team idle the channel for questions and support.

If a member on your team is not currently premium on ESEA and is unable to do so, please reach out via the same Discord channel above and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
